Can you house an emerald swift in a 10 gallon tank?
My gray tree frogs recently passed away. I had em since they wet eggs and they would let me hand feed em no problem. But now I want to move on. I'm making a list of reptiles I can house in a 10 gal tank. I got leopard gecko and crested gecko and I was wondering if a emerald swift would work. Also, would there be any other lizards that could be housed in a 10 gallon tank?
The minimum enclosure size for a single adult or small pair should be equivalent to that of a standard 20-gallon "long" terrarium. While such a tank will provide adequate space for thermoregulating and normal activity, larger enclosures are recommended if space permits. Additionally, larger terrariums will be required when housing larger colonies of these lizards.
