Virgin Gorda, which means "Fat Virgin"
in Spanish, lies about 4 miles east of Tortola. The northern end of the island is mountainous while the southern end is relatively flat. The population of V.G. is just over 3,000 and the lifestyle remains "old Caribbean." Blessed with beautiful beaches, excellent weather, and friendly people...
