Are there any salmon-colored or reddish-pink vipers?
I saw a snake, relatively uniform in pattern but a pink/red appearance. It was crawling up the side of its enclosure. The head looked like a viper-shape, but maybe not as flat. I think it may have been from Africa/Egypt, but it could have been from anywhere. It was not a rosy boa or a blind snake. Any ideas?
PS Many, many answers are going to be naughty ones from my friends, which is fine, as long as a few herpetologists join in. (And, no, Cel, not that kind of herpes.)
African Bush vipers are a reddish color.
