Should I switch from Royal Canin: Labrador Retriever to Authority Harvest Baked Adult Chicken? I know, you guys are going to say "Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, California Natural, etc is better get that." Well those extremely high quality brands are very expensive and Petco/Petsmart don't sell em... But I do want the very best for my dog, and Royal Canin is costing me 40 bucks a month! I heard Authority Harvest Baked is better, and cheaper too... Should I make the switch?

Puh-lease! Eukaneuba is full of fillers, corn, and by-products (no offense or anything, but it's pure garbage)!!!
Did you hear Authority Harvest Baked is better from a Petsmart employee???? Read the ingredients and you maybe in for a little surprise. Stay far away from the personal in that store, trust me they are trained to push the house brand products, I know from hands on experience.
READ the labels. A good quality dog food will have beef, lamb, chicken as the first ingredient. Anything that lists meat by-products first, not as good. Any brand that has corn, wheat, rice first not good at all.
There are lots of quality brands of feed out there that do not have the huge price tag on them. You just have to do some research (Dog Health and Nutrition for Dummies by Christine Zink is a great book) and read labels. You would be surprised at the places you can find good feed at a lower cost.
