how to do a sea salt soak(for an navel piercing)?
okay i my piercing is about 22 days old. i been using provon soap (once a day) and Blairex saline wound wash (twice a day). i need to know how to use the sea salt and the proper amount you are supposed to use. i have been using a medicine cup with the saline so i don't know if that right to do. also my top hole seems to be kind of pinkish red it that normal or is that a sign of it rejecting?
please help
The redness is totally normal. There is no exact measuring needed for a sea salt soak. Just add enough warm water so that all of the sea salt dissolves into the medicine cup and hold it over your piercing for 15 minutes twice per day to aid in healing. Make sure you are not cleaning it with Q-tips, cotton balls, wash cloths, etc.
